钱德勒和摩妮卡向Erica申请领养她的孩子并决定从现在的公寓搬到郊外去住。最后一集，Erica生了一对龙凤胎，Jack和Erica。瑞秋到Gucci应聘工作，但;拉夫劳伦（Ralph Lauren）的老板也在场，最后她因此丢掉了工作。当她离开公司时，碰到了Mark（在第三季出现过），Mark介绍了她新的工作，但地点在巴黎。朋友们为瑞秋举行了告别派对，瑞秋伤感的轮流跟朋友们告别，但除了罗斯。罗斯因此很沮丧，直到瑞秋告诉他她不向他告别是因为太难了。两人随后睡在了一起。
